Yuba Supermarche
This is Yuba’s first front loader. With the cargo area in front of the handlebars you can always keep an eye on your passengers or your cargo. For hauling your kids you can order the bamboo box, which comfortably suits up to two small passengers. In addition to that you can fit a third passenger in a Yepp child seat on the integrated rear rack. You can easily transform the Yuba Supermarche into a full family bike.
The frame is another one of the Supermarché’s special features: the extra low centre of gravity provides stability and the frame can separate into two parts to be stored more efficiently. In just a few simple steps you can detach the front from the handlebars and easily store both in your basement or garage. Along with the cargo area, the frame has also been optimized to make the Yuba Supermarché the perfect transport bike. The low loading platform also lowers the center of gravity of the entire cargo bike so that you can easily and safely navigate through traffic – even under a full load. Due to its modern double redundant cable system, it steers almost like a normal bike despite its cargo area being in the front. That way you will stay nimble even if you’re carrying passengers and cargo. Other than most other Long John cargo bikes, the Supermarché features lower handlebars, which facilitate a casual and comfortable seating position.
In just a few simple steps you can separate the rear and the cargo area, so you can easily store your bike in the garage or even take it to the elevator up to your apartment. The solid bipod kickstand gives the bike stability when parked. So you don’t have to hold up your cargo bike while unloading your groceries or helping your kids getting in and out of the transport box. That way you can always focus on what’s most important.
